My strategy for Stress
As the pace of life continues to increase, so does the incidence of Stress in the work-place, with a loss of productivity which is directly consequential.
My SOS Remedial Therapy is designed to address this problem directly and to deliver practical results quickly and cost-effectively.
Current estimates suggest that over 25% of those in jobs, male and female, are affected by work-related Stress.
One indicator is the number and frequency of managers or employees who are regularly off work with minor illnesses – from colds to back or stomach problems.
Another category includes those who ‘soldier on’ despite the warning signs, only to drop out suddenly one day.
The early symptoms that they chose to ignore are typically headaches, insomnia or anxiety.
Using 5-Path principles, my SOS Remedial Therapy (SOS for short) is designed to resolve both or either situation positively in one of three possible ways:
- The person involved returns to work with their emotional issue resolved, with their confidence and optimism fully restored
- The person involved recognises that the best solution is to work elsewhere or even to retrain for a different career
- The person involved chooses to negotiate a different contract which is more acceptable to both parties
Practically speaking, the Employer commits to paying for a series of six SOS sessions and the Employee commits to attending all of them over a 3 – 6 week period.
In today’s competitive environment, no company can afford to carry people whose productivity is regularly impaired by Stress.
Conversely, no individual can afford to ignore the long-term effects of feeling inadequate, depressed or out of control.
